bought 2 of these traps to try and rid myself of a raccoon that has been playing havoc on my chicken pens. I understand now that this size was maybe too small. DO NOT be fooled into thinking these are not powerful traps. They will break your fingers and more. These are very strong traps. I cannot set mine alone. I'm off to get the setting sticks before I attempt this again. They are dangerous instruments. Be safe ! — Chris from NC
