WOODEX® Wood Post Insulator, 5 In. Extender

A useful addition to electric fences, this pack of 15 wood post insulators are constructed from high-density polyethylene. These devices are 5 inches long and keep the electric wire 5 inches from the post. They are installed with a 30d nail, and the nail is inserted through a 3-inch tube on the insulator then secured into the wooden post. A nail is included with each wood post insulator. These yellow-colored insulators also have UV inhibitors for protection against the sun.
