FT International Purchasing Assistant

Bachelor’s Degree; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Assumes responsibility for detailed international purchasing records. Processes international purchasing purchase orders including creation, submission, and contact with international vendors to ensure quickest delivery. Reviews proforma invoices and order confirmation submitted by international vendors and North State International Trading Company to confirm correct pricing and quantity ordered. Works with accounting department to resolve payment issues with international vendors and North State International Trading Company.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

FT Health and Safety Specialist

Assures health and safety compliance with federal, state and local regulations, OSHA, etc. Builds health and safety relationships with all areas of operation to further an enriched safety culture. Assists in the administration of the company wide health and safety programs; analyze loss data for trends, and assist with the development of programs and procedures in compliance with OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, NIOSH, ACGIH, and other industry standards. Provides training and guidance to Store Management and Training Coordinators to ensure Corporate Environmental Health Safety Program is being implemented consistently. Maintains relevant OSHA logs, communication, and documentation. Conducts semi-annual safety audits of all store locations and communicate results and recommendations to Management and locations.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; and 3-5 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

FT Purchasing Analyst

Responsible for the administrative and analytical functions which support the ongoing management of the Purchasing department. Maintains Supplier Database integrity by means of keying accuracy and timely input of all information received. Writes, reviews and analyzes inventory and sales report(s) to minimize inventory shortages and maximize top line revenue. Monitors market trends and analyze potential new products sales potential. Assists Planning Team in forecasting vendor Program Orders.

Requirements: Associate's degree (A.A.); or fours years of related job experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

FT Director of Information Technology

Oversees technology for the company with broad responsibility for hardware, software, data, and interaction with all functional areas to support a positive user experience. Works directly with Executive Management to design and execute strategies to increase productivity, safeguard and utilize data, and work with partners to operate a secure and growing technology environment. Plays a key role in both growth and business continuity planning for the organization. Leads all aspects of technology growth and development to support the company’s vision. Works with the IT steering committee to set the company’s strategic direction, development, and future growth with regards to technology. Serves as protector and steward of company data by facilitating availability, security, and usability of all data. Has a broad understanding of process and data flows to enable troubleshooting with internal and external partners. Collaborates with other department heads including Accounting, Customer Service, EHS, Human Resources, Marketing, Purchasing, Operations, and Security as an advisor on technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in area of specialty and 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Must have demonstrated IT leadership experience.

FT Accounts Payable Clerk

Performs multiple tasks, including invoice entry, administrative tasks, and document workflow, in a fast-paced Accounts Payable department. Payment processing of domestic invoices in Epicor which includes verifying quantity and pricing by comparing the vendor invoice and purchase order in Epicor. Logging of pricing discrepancies and problem reports which is then researched and resolved by the Purchasing department. This includes follow up with Purchasing to make sure that the payment is made timely and early payment discounts are taken.

Requirements: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

FT Management Trainee

Gains knowledge and experience required for promotion to management positions under direction of experienced personnel. Receives training and performs duties in several departments such as credit, customer relations, accounting and sales to become familiar with line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints, company policies and practices. Receives training in functions and operations of related departments to facilities subsequent transferability between departments and to provide greater promotional opportunities. Attends company sponsored training classes.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or two to four years related job experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer person with agricultural background either through educational program or practical experience. Applicant must train in Garner, NC and then relocate within the Southeast. Internal applicants must be in good standing within the company. Must have at minimum a satisfactory performance review record, attendance record and a positive attitude.
