Galvan Copper Coated Ground Rod, 6' x 1/2"

This copper ground rod can be used when installing an electric fence or installing grounding systems. This grounding rod has a rigid steel core that has a heavy copper coating to resist corrosion. Being corrosion resistant is particularly important since part of the grounding rod will be buried underground, where it is more likely to erode. The nominal length of this copper ground rod is 6 feet, and the nominal diameter is 1/2". Clamps are sold separately. When used with fence chargers, you may need a ground clamp, and you can see your choices in the Specifications section below.
