Gearbox to fit 4', 5', 6', 7', & 8' , Standard Agmate Estate Mowers

I bought a used 6' finish mower hoping I found a diamond in the rough. Well when getting it home and testing it out I discovered that the cut was uneven and the noise coming from the blade spindles/Gearbox was crazy loud. So I took on the challenge to restore my first ever finish mower. after full disassembly and reassembly with replacing spindle bearings and blades, all the hardware, sanding and repainting and 4 new wheel assemblies, The dollars kept adding up. at this point I was so excited to try out my new finish mower !!!!! all hooked up and out mowing only to hear a grinding/high pitch sound coming from the gearbox. I thought for a second did I refill the gearbox after I drained it ? Yes I did with the best 90 weight gear oil on the market. So back to the removal of the gearbox and disassembly of the gearbox, I found that 3 out of 4 bearings was in bad shape and the ring gear and pinion was grooved and flacking. so I had to go for it and do nothing about the ring gear and pinion but replace the 4 bearings along with 2 seals and fill back up with gear oil and reinstalled only to find out that it was much much better but not to my liking !!!!! After this I searched the internet to just try and find what brand of finish mower I had ? only to find that several different companies sell the same finish mower that I have. So I called several of these companies and one big named box store to not get any help what so ever other than we only sell the product we don't sell parts for the product, WHAT ? So back to the search. That's when I found Agri Supply and after going through the on-line store I think I found my Gearbox and found that these finish mowers are from China and branded with whom ever dealer it is that sells them. So I made the call and started talking to Stanley in customer service, Let me tell ya he totally rocked in the customer service center, He spent so much time with me making sure that this gearbox would be the correct one for my finish mower. Also I not only purchased the gearbox but also new belts and a new PTO shaft just so I could have the protective gaurd's and make it all new. I didn't even mind to pay for the shipping and tax just because of the great customer service. packaged arrived quickly and I installed the new items and I have to say that its perfect and Agri Supply and I made it that way. Now I do have in it what a brand new one cost but It was a fun challenge to make it perfect again.
